VoIP Truphone on iPhone (without WiFi)
Few days ago, we shared with you TruPhone, a VoIP solution for iPod Touch/ iPhone using WiFi. The company just pushed further with a new app that allows using VoIP over the cellphone network on the iPhone.
The app called TruPhone Anywhere, allows user to call anywhere with just a local connection – for free to other Truphone users (including iPhone users with Truphone app installed) or landlines (including International) with a very low cost per minute fees.
“Truphone Anywhere works in 33 countries around the world, saving iPhone users from those countries money on international calls made from their home country when not in Wi-Fi. The easy-to-use service works alongside domestic service providers, but reduces international call costs to as little as £0.03/$0.06 [UK/RoW] per minute. “
