Inauguration Channel from Zannel Provides Front Seat to Washington’s Historic Day
Instant mobile video, photo and text updates capture events in real-time
Can’t make it to D.C. for Inauguration Day? Zannel, the instant media network used by millions to share pictures, videos and text from mobile phones and the web, has a solution. Today the company announced a dedicated channel for the 2009 Presidential Inauguration. The channel, which will provide instant mobile multimedia updates by political microbloggers in Washington D.C., will cover local events, briefings, galas, and other activities during the week of the inauguration.
Follow the bloggers in real time on the Web by going to: www.zannel.com/inauguration09 or on mobile by texting "DC09" to 58888. iPhone users can follow Inauguration Day by downloading Zannel’s CityWatch iPhone application. CityWatch provides a map view of Zannel and Flickr photos taken at the Inauguration. To get CityWatch go here or to the iPhone App Store. To find inauguration activities and updates, enter "1600 Pennsylvania Ave DC" (The White House address) or "1 Constitution Ave DC" (Capitol Building address) in the Location Search Field within the application.
Zannel’s inauguration coverage follows the PoliticsBlue channel, which featured 12 political bloggers from around the country, who broadcasted live from the floor of the Democratic National Convention last October.
