According to rumor, at the next Mobile World Congress (MWC) , Microsoft will unveil 3 new services codenamed SkyBox, SkyLine and SkyMarket.

  • imageSkyBox is the suite of PIM (email, contacts, calendar, photos, SMS) synchronization between phones (Windows Mobile and non-Windows Mobile, hey, no-wall here!) and the cloud. Skybox also offers automatic backup and restore capability.
  • SkyLine, similar to Skybox but it is gearing toward small businesses. The cloud part will be Microsoft’s Exchange hosting with their own domain names.
  • SkyMarket as its name indicates, it is Microsoft version of Apple iPhone App store. The Skymarket is to sell software for Windows Mobile.

The most anticipate announcement will be perhaps a new release of WM 6.5, reportedly would be skipped for WM 7.  [Source Neowin via Engadget]
