2nd Wireless Operator will carry iPhone in France

image In the US, only ATT has been enjoying the explosive subscription growth with the exclusivity of iPhone distribution. In France, the wireless carrier Orange has enjoyed a similar effect, but this exclusivity will come to an end starting April 8,    France’s Competition Council has decided there must multiple iPhone carriers in France, As the result the second French wireless operator SFR will begin offering Apple’s iPhone.

SFR will price the 8GB iPhones for €99 ($127) and 16GB iPhones for €199 ($254) with two year contract. Plans range from €41.90 to €67.90 per month ($53-86).  All plans include unlimited text, data, and WiFi  [Via ArsTechnica]

for moment customers of SFR Carrier are not enjoy cause they have the same price than Orange for their data plan. Other wait Bouygues telecom to compare the prices
