Hottest Cellphone Feature: Real QWERTY keyboard?

I remember when Steve Jobs first introduced the iPhone, one of his his first statements about differentiator was: unlike other smartphones the iPhone does not need a real keyboard … But the reality is, the most missed feature for iPhone users is the real keyboard..And at CTIA Wireless conference 09, phone manufacturers seem to jump on that opportunity showing many phones equipped with a real keyboard.

The latest announced iPhone 3.0 firmware still does not offer any API for third party add-on keyboard. We hope by June time frame, when the new iPhone hardware is supposed to be announced, Apple would add this capability or even a sliding keyboard to the unit, which would be a nice feature to celebrate Steve Jobs coming back, wouldn’t it?…
