T-Mobile Road warriors rejoice: webConnect USB Laptop Stick released
T-Mobile, finally unveils its version of broadband 3G “Aircard” called T-Mobile webConnect™ USB Laptop Stick. In addition to its duties to take your laptop, netbook online while on the road, the stick can also be an USB drive with MicroSDHC card support (up to 8GB). The service allows user to hop on scarce (US) T-Mobile’s 3G network, as well as to more than 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots.
The webConnect USB laptop stick features tri-band 3G connectivity and GPRS/EDGE, so it’s not only compatible with T-Mobile’s nationwide network, but also with European networks, which offers more convenience to business travelers.
The Stick cost $50 with 2-yr contract or $250 without. Read more Press release
