With the PC market is almost at saturation point, software and hardware will certainly move to untamed territory of the living room. Adobe, the ubiquitous name for Web video, is no exception, announcing a version of Flash that’s optimized for televisions, set-top boxes and Blu-ray players.  The ultimate goal is to deliver video contents from Web to your living room TV set with high quality.

This large endeavor will consist of new framework definition for developers leveraging the existing support applications and new hardware and chip partners. Adobe seems to already have the partnership with Broadcom, Intel, NXP Semiconductors, Sigma  Designs and STMicroelectronics.
