Cooliris, the visual add-on to your Firefox browser that display the 3D image wall. It has decided to go beyond the browser. Today Cooliris has a major launch , the new version includes:
- The ability to browse photos from your hard drive
- Brand new Facebook support – the 3D wall for all Facebook images
with tags, titles, etc. - More relevant information in the wall: Related videos on YouTube,
Product descriptions in shopping, shutter and aperture in Picasa, etc.
Cooliris is also excited to announce that they’ve crossed 12M downloads of Cooliris, and that they have recently taken in more than $15M in Series B funding from Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, DAG Ventures, The Westly Group, and T Mobile Venture Fund.
