Flip Ultra pocket camcorders
Just few months after the release of its MinoHD , Pure Digital Technologies (soon a Cisco company) just released 2 new models of the popular “YouTube” camcorder. The HD version produces 1280 x 720 high- definition video. When we compared the MinoHD with the Creative VadoHD, we found the MinoHD came short with less memory and the lack of a HDMI port. The UltraHD seems to address those short coming and adding the capability to use AA batteries (could be rechargeable via the USB plug)
The Flip UltraHD retails at $199.99 and standard-resolution Flip Ultra costs $149.99 camcorders. Both models feature two hours of recording time, a high-resolution two-inch screen. Since they can act as USB memory, the new Flip Ultra cameras are pre-loaded with FlipShare software, making it convenient to plug in to any PC or Mac for transferring, editing or uploading to vide sharing sites.
