HTC Snap: Standard WM 6.1 Smartphone

Based on the hugely successful T-Mobile Dash (Windows Mobile device w/ frontal QWERTY keyboard) and the popular form factor of R.I.M. Blackberry devices (middle trackball). HTC announced the HTC Snap (previously known as HTC Maple).
The slim form factor of the Dash has been carried over, the Snap is measured 4.59-inch x 2.42-inch x 0.47-inch. It is a Standard – Non Touchscreen device that runs WM 6.1. The horizontal 2.4” screen 320×240 resolution; 3G, WiFi; a hefty1500 mAh battery; 2 MP camera and it is powered by a 528 MHz CPU.
It is natural to think T-mobile will carry the device but unless HTC will add different radio when the device comes state side. The current device only features 850/1,900-MHz and 900/2,100-MHz bands, which are not in T-Mobile range (1,700-MHz band). [Source PCMag]
