Samsung possibly follows HTC footsteps with a keyboard on Omnia
I think this is pure speculation to draw the parallel line of products between HTC and Samsung. Granted, if HTC Touch (Diamond2, Pro2) line is stealing the headlines. Samsung has its Omnia line including Omnia i900 and Omnia HD i8910 are at the highest regard in Smartphone-land too.
What is missing is just a handset with QWERTY keyboard to be on par with the HTC Touch Pro2.
Rumors say Samsung might address that problem shortly with the “Omnia Pro”, which obviously features a side-sliding keyboard behind its wide 3.5” touchscreen display. Reportedly, Samsung Omnia Pro will hit the market in summer’09, for a retail price of around €500 ($662) and it will use Windows Mobile OS. [Via Unwiredview , mock-up photo credit HDblog.it]
