Sprint’s final stretch for Palm Pre launch

Both Sprint and Palm have maintained the launch date of the most anticipated handset, the Palm Pre, for the first half 09. Both companies are struggling for a come back with this new smartphone, they treat this launch as the same way that Apple launched its iPhone. Extensive training for customer service personnel as well as vacation freezes are taking place. The latter is for the month of May.

In addition, according to Phone News, Sprint might have 2 launch dates May 17 if stock is sufficiently replenished , if not the launch will be slipped  to June 29.  [Via UnwiredView]
