The new Apple iPhone might be ready in May
There will be no surprise that a new iPhone will make its appearance sometime mid year. The latest reports from Taiwan indicate that assembly suppliers will start shipping new iPhones in May. The new hardware will feature the latest 3.0 firmware. Rumors warm that we should not expect major changes beside better camera, and higher storage capacity.
According to DigiTimes, TSCM (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) landed orders for new iPhone components, including GSM/EDGE power amplifiers, 3.2 Megapixel OmniVision CMOS image sensors and Bluetooth ICs (integrated circuits). [Via TheUnwiredView]
