ASUS Eee keyboard pricing and availability revealed
Asus fruit of relentless pursuit of innovation is the Eee keyboard, which houses an entire PC under the full size keyboard with a reasonable thickness. A 5 inch touch screen takes place of a traditional numeric keypad.
Under the surface, you can find a 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB SSD, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. As far as ports, there are 2 x USB 2.0, VGA, HDMI, and audio in/out. The juicy part is the high end model that features a wireless HDMI, which makes this PC/keyboard a perfect home theater companion. Just load Boxee when the Windows version available!
The wireless (HDMI) version will cost $600 and the wired (HDMI) version cost2 $400 when they hit stateside by May or June timeframe, according to Asus CEO Jerry Shen.
