Palm Pre will sync with iTunes

CNN/Fortune magazine confirms this little secret: Plug a Pre into a computer and it syncs, seamlessly, with Apple’s iTunes non-drm’ed songs.

This is not a big deal as it might sound. For Windows Mobile users, many available methods can be used to sync a folder contents to device. But team Pre has apparently built the necessary code right into the device’s firmware to perform this function out of the box..

An Apple spokesperson, reached for comment earlier this week, would only say that the company does not respond to rumor and speculation.
