Analyst: Apple will sell half million iPhones 3GS this weekend
Tomorrow, apple starts rolling out the new iPhone 3GS to only eight countries. Piper Jaffray’s senior analyst Gene Munster expects Apple will sell 500,000 iPhones this weekend, according to a research note sent to clients, reports Fortune.
If the prediction is correct, this will be only half of the the sale number of the 3G launch, which took place in 23 countries.
While the new iPhone is identical to the one it replaces, faster CPU and circuitry as well as better camera, digital compass and the iPhone OS 3.0 loaded. [Via Cnet]
