Qualcomm announces 1.3GHz Snapdragon QSD8650A chipset

When the world just barely tasted the speed of the 1GHz Snapdragon QSD2850 chipset, only appears in the Toshiba TG01, Qualcomm announces its sibling, the new 1.3GHz QSD8650A chipset.

The higher clock speed is not only the improvement, the new chipset also packed with 2D graphics accelerator and an improved 3D graphics core that supports WXGA (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution  displays and Adobe Flash, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, mobile TV (DVB-H, MediaFLO, ISDB-T) and high-def video recording/playback. The best part is it consumes  30% less power, which is much needed for mobile devices.
