T-Mobile Product Roadmap “Leaked”
Engadget got a slide of T-Mobile product roadmap. Again, it is our speculation that with the imminent launch of the most anticipated Palm Pre, other carriers would “leak out” intentionally their product roadmap to the blogosphere.
Below is a summary of the smartphones,
- The Android powered myTouch 3G (AKA "myPhone" AKA G2) is listed for 5/18 manufacturing approval and an 8/5 on sale date online and in stores.
- The Dash 3G — T-Mobile’s version of the HTC Snap — is lined up for 7/1, but it’ll be shipped to retail partners on 6/26.
- The Touch Pro2 "mocha" tone on July 22. Notes on this one confirm that it’s codenamed Rhodium and is destined to replace the Wing.
- The BlackBerry Gemini listedfor June 22 manufacturing approval in two colors: black and frost. No release date is given.
