Waze, Free Android app for real-time road info

Waze is the first free provider of driver-generated maps and real-time road information. It uses a community-based approach to maps and traffic, and harnesses driver-generated data to build navigable road maps and provide real-time information to commuters on the latest road conditions, traffic, street closures, speed traps and more. By building a community of drivers on the road, waze is able to provide the real-time road conditions that help commuters answer the every-day question, “Which was should I go today?”

The Android community has already embraced waze and helped build preliminary maps in the Bay Area, Chicago and Boston.
