image According to TechCrunch’s MG Siegler,  Research in Motion is launching a new social network for  BlackBerry App World store. The Social site will be called MyBlackBerry where users can now create their profiles, voice their opinion, recommendations, etc.. on the application featured in the store as well as tip trick sharing.

So far this kind of user community sites have been seen with fan sites but Blackberry seems to  want to take control. I don’t know how Fan sites will think about it. Reportedly, the purpose of the new service is to gain attention  its App World store, which currently features about 2000 applications.  RIM declined to comment about the service as well as its availability.
