Rumor: HTC Leo, first capacitive display Windows phone

 Rumors  on the Web suggesting the upcoming HTC codenamed Leo will have capacitive touch screen running Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. Until now Windows Mobile only support resistive touchscreen.

imageCapacity screen support on Windows Mobile has been recently mentioned in Steve Ballmer statement of direction interview. The  technology works by continually measuring the capacitive property of different areas of the screen. When conducting material such as a finger is placed on the screen, its capacitive properties change and the screen driver can determine where the finger is based upon the changes. Read more HERE!
