Qik for iPhone 3G S Available
Qik, the free service that lets cellphone users with 3G and video capture capabilities to live stream the video has been available on almost mobile platforms, except the iPhone (you probably know the reasons).
Today Qik released its version for iPhone 3G S, available in Apple App store. However, in this version Apple has limited its capability of live streaming. So consider this app is merely a video upload service. You can set up for immediate uploading when you stop recording. Geo-tagging is also supported.
Qik pull videos right from your iPhone 3GS Camera Roll and upload them to your Qik account. So if you’ve recorded videos with the iPhone 3GS native camera, you can share those via Qik, too. Qik is the only iPhone 3GS app to let you share videos from your camera roll straight to your blog, website, Facebook, YouTube, and all the other networks Qik integrates with.
The app initially can only be used on WiFi network, but Qik is working on getting the approval for 3G as well.
