As strange as it sounds, my search for a tripod that can position the iPhone in landscape mode is still fruitless.
I decided to pull out, one of my old DIY project, which uses a metal bookend and 2 screws. The solution works great for a stand, a dock, and a tabletop “tripod” to video tape a conversation. The bookend does need a new paint job, I admit!
