Dropbox, 2GB to Store, Share your Data for Free. Stream Media Files to iPhone

Dropbox  is an online file storing/sharing service..Dropbox is cross platforms (Linux, Windows, Mac) and Web access. Yesterday, an iPhone client was launched.

User is required to install a small client software on the desktop/laptop computer, files/directory can be dragged and dropped to a sharing place so other clients running on other computer can access. Another Web based depository is also created for Web based access and this location stores several versions of the file in case collaboration use.

Files can be shared to non-Dropbox client users as well. You can share files or directory to others by creating an URL for easy Web access them.

Currently, you can get 2GB of storage space for free on the cloud. larger capacity requires pay account. The user interface is very intuitive and clean.

The Dropbox iPhone client allows user to access files stored on their secured servers as well as streaming music and movies from your Dropbox account. User can also take photos, videos on the iphone and upload too.
