Barnes & Noble Unveils “Nook”
As anticipated, today Barnes & Noble unveils its e-Reader called “Nook”, a wireless e-ink display and small color touch-screen for navigation, etc..
The $259 Android-based device comes with 3G wireless and WiFi access (courtesy of AT&T) to over one million eBooks, newspapers and magazines.
User can lend purchased books to other friends with B&N LendMe™ technology, lend a wide selection of eBooks to friends free of charge, for up to 14 days at a time. Just choose the book you want to share and send it to your friend’s nook or iPhone, iPod touch, select BlackBerry® and Motorola smartphones, PC or Mac® with Barnes & Noble eReader software.
B&N is taking pre-order and its availability will be and of November.
