Blackberry Storm 2 Announced

Research In Motion has announced the release later this month of the BlackBerry Storm 2, the second full touch-screen smartphone that hopefully address the problem of its first version

The Storm is known for its clickable touch-screen as user can find the same feature on the second version. However the Storm 2 has new called "SurePress" technology, which replaces the mechanical click of the Storm 1 with an electronic system for tactile feedback and multi-touch capabilities. The multi-touch feature allows users to type on more than just one part of the screen at a time.

Other features include WiFi, GPS, full QWERTY soft keyboard in portrait and landscape mode,2 GB of onboard memory and microSD/SDHD slot

The Storm 2 will be available from 26 October, initially as a Vodafone exa clusive. The handset will be free from £35 per month on a 24-month contract.
