Netbook Users Rejoice Windows 7 on an USB Stick

image Microsoft has made available USB/DVD Download Tool on the new Microsoft online store. When you purchase a copy of Windows 7 from the store, you can create a copy of that ISO file on DVD or USB flash drive. The latter is very useful for Netbook users since most likely they don’t have an optical drive.

With the new Download Tool, you’re able to create a bootable USB drive which can then be used to install Windows 7 on any computer… even if there’s no operating system currently installed on the machine.

You need a clean newly formatted USB stick with at least 4GB in capacity. You’ll be given the option to use this tool when you purchase a copy of Windows 7 here and then choose one of the download options as your delivery method.

If you already have a Windows 7 ISO and just want to download the tool, you can click here (.exe file) to install it on your PC now.

I’m really a fan of Win7 and I can’t wait to have it install on my machine. Lots of my friend are telling me how impressive the UI and the performance of this new OS.

Unfortunately, when you do a quick googling for Win7, even before the release an outbreak of pirated/leak copies are damp on the web.

BTW, I don’t know if you’re receiving my mail about the change link request engadgeteer.com to TechGeeze.com since I have lost the old domain. If you can kindly change it asap. Thanks.
