O2, UK wireless carrier starts carrying the Palm Pre starting this week. The device is fully subsidized (no cost) with 2 year contract or $150, should user decide to go with 18-month contract. Monthly fees will cost 34.26 Pounds, or approximately $56 including unlimited data  600 minutes of talk time, 500 text messages.

This event marks the beginning of a global distribution  of the Palm running WebOS.  In US, Sprint has had exclusivity of the Palm Pre since June, but this exclusivity comes to an end as Verizon officially announces it will carry the Pre in early of 2010. We the rumor turns out to be true. We also should expect a new model called Palm Pixi by the holiday.
