Rumor: Verizon’s Larger Ambition (might have Apple in it)

With the frenzy press over the weekend about the upcoming larger-than-life Motorola Droid, I thought this consortium of Google, Verizon and Motorola confirms the partnership between the most reliable 3G network carrier and the ever popular fruit company would be gone for a foreseen future.

Well, not so soon, I could be wrong… FoneFrenzy.com reports the series of TV commercials attacking the iPhone were indeed from Motorola not Verizon. And talks between Verizon and Apple is in progress to test the 4G LTE network on the 700 MHz spectrum and we should expect an announcement at the next Apple’s WWDC in 2010.

Again, please take this with a grain of salt until we know more.
