Chiclets by Dell: Zino HD PC

Earlier we told you about Boxee is coming out with an appliance sometime in 2010, if you don’t want to wait, Dell’s new Zino HD mini-computers could very well do the job ( read HERE! to learn how to install Boxee on your Windows machine).

The 8” x 8” small form factor PC packs with several configurations ranging from  $230 (single-core 1.6GHz AMD Athlon , DVD burner, 2GB of RAM,  250GB hard drive) to the full blown version $800. Our recommendation would be in the middle of the pack: dual-core Athlon X2 3250e, upgrade the RAM to 4GB RAM, add 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Blu-ray drive for under $500. The chiclet comes with HDMI to hook up with your HD TV, eSATA for additional storage complete the home theater dream.
