Google Entering to Hardware Market with an Android Phone?

image Yesterday, rumors were running high about a possible Android-based phone that Google would bring to the market sometime in 2010. This rumor sparks so many discussions about this unlikely possibility. Today, TechCrunch further clarifies with an additional rumor that the device would only running an a data plan only network similar to an Apple iPhone without voice plan.

This would make perfectly sense to us with the recent numerous moves surrounding Google Voice service and the acquisition of VoIP Gizmo 5 project. Google ambition seems to gear the consumers toward all IP (data) for everything including the voice service.

Ironically, devices that use data plan still need service from existing cellular wireless carriers. (AT&T reportedly is bidding for the business), unless Google will make use of the 700MHz spectrum that the company was bidding in 2007.

Moving Voice, Books, Magazine TV, Radio, et.. to an IP based network seems to be on Google global domination plan.

Just wanted to restate… http://news.netapex.org/?p=429

It wont be long before people start looking at cancelling local cell phones to ride along Google’s cloud.
