imageWhen you work with a small group, if only 1 person in the room who has internet access. It comes very handy if this person could share his/her internet access with others.

Connectify is a cool free service which lets you transform your Windows 7 PC into a Wi-Fi hotspot just by running a little application. You can also share WiFi connection with your mobile devices (e.g. ZuneHD, iPod Touch, etc..)

Once installed, the app lets you configure your HotSpot with name, passphrase, etc.. Others can discover and connect to your network. The caveat is you will need to have a Windows 7 PC (32 or 64-bit) – older versions of Windows are not supported.

I do not have 50 computers in my house. But now I can actually use the two I have. Connectify made this one a winner in my book.
