Slacker, today announced that T-Mobile USA customers using a BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone will be given easier access to their favorite music through the free Slacker Radio Mobile application, as an icon for the application will be pushed directly to their smartphone.
Already broadly available on BlackBerry App World(TM) to T-Mobile USA customers using BlackBerry® smartphones, T-Mobile USA’s customers using a BlackBerry Curve 8520 are now provided with greater discoverability and easier access to the Slacker Radio Mobile application.
Once the Slacker icon appears on their BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone, T-Mobile customers simply click to download the Slacker Radio application, a free service that has millions of songs in high-quality audio. Slacker Radio is a powerful music discovery experience comprised of over 100 expert-programmed Slacker stations with listeners being able to create their own custom stations with their favorite artists and songs. Music fans can also read detailed artist biographies, album reviews and song lyrics.
Other BlackBerry smartphone customers on the T-Mobile network can also enjoy the free Slacker Basic Radio service by visiting BlackBerry App World (www.blackberry.com/appworld) or www.Slacker.com from web2go directly on their smartphone.
