Sony Ericsson X10 Android Powered

After few attempts with Windows Mobile OS with modest success. Sony Ericsson, today announce its first Android 1.6 powered device, the SE X10. The timing is a little bit off, considering the Motorola Droid was announced with newer Android OS 2.0 few days ago.

The unit built is on par with Sony reputation. The popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz CPU; 8MP camera; 4” capacitive touch-screen, multi-touch support etc.. denote a high-end device.
The user interface is redesigned by SE team under code name Rachael. The whole Social Media suite of apps are well integrated along with multimedia apps showing overly complicated graphics and transitions

. Few walkthrough interface videos have been posted HERE for your review..   The unit is on schedule for early 2010 release. No word on Android 2.0 upgrade.
