Microsoft Bing determines to keep pace with Google. Just few days after Google released its voice-capable mobile search app, today Microsoft announced the first official Bing App for iPhone and iPod touch.  The very good looking app brings voice search similarly to the counterpart on Windows phones or BlackBerry.

Voice search is available for map locations as well as regular search. Users can dictate “Boston weather” or “75 Anton, Mission Viejo”  by holding the phone to your ear or press the mic button.

Location based search is handy to look for a restaurant near by and choose  whether you want walking or driving directions. The map search uses Seadragon technology for smooth action of zooming and panning, traffic information is also provided.
