First Turn-Key Solution from Boxee

Last Tuesday Dec, 8th Boxee, the open source software for TV watching over Internet, unveiled the new developer partners, Boxee new Beta and the D-Link as hardware manufacturer for the upcoming Boxee appliance.

Until now Boxee has been available for as software to be installed on Mac, Linux and Windows computers by user.

The D-Link/Boxee will be a turn-key offering that allows user to watch videos from the Web as well as personal medias on their home TV. The odd shaped hardware includes  HDMI, SPDIF, RCA Audio, 2 USB for expansion, Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Ethernet.
