Newsy.com Releases New Version of iPhone App

Newsy, a multi-source video news service producing daily videos for web and mobile devices, today debuted a new free version of its popular free iPhone app that deepens and enhances news consumption for mobile users. Newsy is the only news service that analyzes the key differences in how a story is being reported by various news organizations around the world. Newsy.com takes a step back to show how the world’s news organizations are reporting a story – providing an unprecedented global and macro point of view.  You’ll find CNN right next to Al Jazeera, the BBC right next to ABC. Newsy.com  also covers major newspapers, news magazines as well as top blogs from around the world.

In the new version of the app, once a video completes playing, a “Sources” button appears next to the ˜Share” and ˜Comment” buttons. As with the first version of the app, user comments made via iPhones and iTouch are
synced instantaneously with the Newsy.com website.
