Mobile World Congress “Seven-Phones”
If CES was all Google “Superphone”, Barcelona could be all Windows Mobile 7. Mobile World Congress will kick off in few weeks, Microsoft is expected to steal the show with the announcement of its new mobile OS, the long awaited Windows Mobile 7 (or Mobile Seven).
The rumor mill has already started with several handsets from HTC (Imagio, Obsession) and the LG (Apollo) as reported by WMPoweruser and WMexperts as Mobile Seven showcase devices (or they could even be called Seven-Phones)
As far as HTC is concerned, development seems to shift exclusively on a “new line of handsets”, putting on halt of what could be a tablet running Android. The new HTC Obsession could be the followed on of the flagship HTC HD2. The device is featuring 3.7 capacitive AMOLED display, 1GHz CPU, 5MP camera capable of 720p HD video capturing.

From Twittersphere, some sharp eyes spotted the LG flagship codenamed Apollo could be the first device to support Mobile Seven by August-September timeframe. The specs reportedly are below:

It is time for Microsoft to revive its mobile platform, and there is no better time than now. We can’t wait.
