Google Earth for Android Released

Android 2.1 users can now download for free Google Earth from the Android Market. If you are familiar with the app. The Android version is very similar, offering capability to view 3D satellite imageries, zooming, pinching, etc. Fly to your current location with the touch of a button; Search by voice (English, Mandarin, or Japanese.)  for cities, places, and businesses around the world with Google local search..

Layers can also be added for geographic information including roads, borders, Panoramio photos, and more. The app was shown at the Nexus One launch but wasn’t available until now.
