SHAPE Services, developer of mobile social networking and productivity apps, announced today the update of its IM+ for Skype app for BlackBerry smartphones.

The update features absolutely free Skype calls in Wi-Fi zones. The present technology carries out VoIP calls in half-duplex mode, similar to a walkie-talkie.

"No other app for BlackBerry allows to make absolutely free Skype calls to international destinations when roaming with Wi-Fi," said Igor Berezovsky, CEO of SHAPE Services, "besides free you get crystal clear voice quality and almost no delays."

In addition to free VoIP calls, SHAPE Services has added the support of avatars, contact list grid, new scrollbars and other great features.
