Rumors: Windows Phone OS SEVEN Details Emerged
The site PPCGeeks just unveiled some details about the next mobile OS version from Microsoft that is expected to be announced on February 15th, 2010 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain
The rumors, which are fairly believable based on what we have heard..for the last 5 years, indicate only the Zune-like UI will be shown in Barcelona and the UI is characterized as “Very Clean”, “Soulful” and “Alive”, the functionalities will be unveiled at later date. Application install can only be done through the marketplace; App can be tried to buy (take it Apple!). Multitasking is carried over with better enhancement, background apps are in “paused” state with push notification enabled. The apps are backward compatible with older version seems to be confirmed due to the new NetCF. Full Xbox360 and Zune integration is expected for gaming and media consumption..
