Brizzly: Twitter Client App for iPhone Released

Lately, my Web-based favorite Twitter client has been Brizzly after the developer switched from TwitZap. I just like the simplicity of an online tool and yet feature rich app.

Brizzly supports multiple Twitter & Facebook accounts; preserve your search, in-line display media, widescreen support, etc.. Another useful feature is the trends and its short explanation describing what the trend is all about. Clicking on the trend will show the ongoing conversation.

Today I learned Brizzly has made available an iPhone app using the same clean simple interface,  and carries most features of the online desktop version minus the ability to add Facebook account. Hopefully it is coming soon.

The trend feature is invoked with the news icon will show in separate panel, where an explanation is available and a search option to pull all conversation related to the subject.

New updates can be entered along with photo, which will be upload to Brizzly site as default, but you can optionally select Flickr, if you have a Flickr account.

Switching between account by clicking on the drop down menu on top.

The app is free, you need to have a Brizzly account (same as the desktop version) to start. [iTunes]
