doubleTwist for Windows 2.7.0.3282 Release

doubleTwist, the free iTunes alternative application for sharing, enjoying and syncing personal media, just got an upgrade.

In this release, a full feature podcast has been added for your enjoyment of time shifting audio/video programs. Users can search, subscribe, play, sync to their phone or device.

Other updates with this release include but are not limited to:

• library sorting issues fixed (sort by original track number)
• id3 tag discovery and display enhancement — not a full featured id3 tag editor but progress has been made on a more stable display of id3 tag info from iTunes and WMP media.
• Support for networked drives!!
• Status and progress of application loading (status of iTunes, WMP scanning, playlists importing)
• ability to reload iTunes and/or WMP playlists at each launch
• Ability to not scan iTunes for changes at each launch (if you know you haven’t added anything, why waste time and resources checking for changes? — yeah we knew you’d agree).
• Miscellaneous crashing bugs and overall stability of the client
