iPhone Explorer adds “Disk-Mode” to iPhone
Without the need of Jailbreaking , iPhone Explorer utility can add “disk mode” to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
iPhone Explorer is a free utility for Mac and Windows. It display an Explorer like window to show the iPhone’s inner with file folder structure similar to an USB drive.
Drag and drop method is available to add or remove files and folders from the iPhone. Unfortunately, the utility still requires the latest iTunes to be installed on your desktop/laptop side. While pictures are OK to move/copy back and forth. MP3 files are different matter, Apple seems to rename the files stored on the iPhone with cryptic format to be usable. The utility provides the convenience to store your other files to maximize the storage utilization however.
