Limited Multi-Tasking on Windows Phone 7

In an interview of PCMag and Charlie Kindel, Microsoft’s Windows Phone developer strategy Boss. He confirms Microsoft will only allow on very limited basis third party apps that can run in the background. Pandora, music streaming is among the exception, it would have to use a special background service API however.

Other restrictions includes no background telephony app; all third party apps will go through Windows Phone Market Place; no replaceable memory card. Read the full article HERE
