iPad USB Camera Kit Supports Audio Headsets and Keyboard

Apple is offering its $29 iPad camera connection kit available fro pre-order. The kit consists of two little plastic dongles which connects into the iPad’s dock port. On has an SD card reader,  the other has a plain old USB port for plugging the camera in direct to transfer photos to the iPad.

Some early experimentation revealed the USB port actually supports other USB audio devices such USB headset and keyboard. The USB headset is particularly useful for using VoIP Skype app.  [Via TUAW Tidbits]
