Skype plans to test as a public beta of group chat video feature as early as next week. according to the Associated Press. Up to 5 five Skype users will be able to participate in a simultaneous video call. The feature will be free at launch, but Skype is expected to charge in a few months.
The group video chat will be available to Windows PC users first, and a Mac version is on the way for later in the year.
