Google to Release Multiple Account Sign-In

image Many casual users might find single log-in is convenient for Web services but others including me, consider having multiple accounts to segregate different workloads is a must. Unfortunately working on the same desktop or laptop, switching between account is an absolute daunting task. You have to log-out from one account and log-in to another one.

Recently personal I had bad experience when Google forced to use Gmail account on one of my YouTube accounts, which caused a lost access to that account. I had to find another username…

Google seems to feel the pain, the company admits that a beta program is underway to test multiple account sign-in for the following services:   Calendar, Gmail*,Code, Docs, Reader, Sites. * Gmail offline is not yet support.

When this feature is available, we should be able to have different tabs for different user ID and switching back and forth should be a breeze, just a matter to picking the right tab.
