image Music subscription, an all-you-can-eat music download with a monthly flat rate fee has been around for long time but never really took off. With the Zune pass featured on Windows Phone 7 is looming on the horizon along with Apple acquisition of Lala and the much talked Spotify, Rdio .. We hope the service will eventually get more adoption in monthes to come.

MOG started out as a desktop music subscription, has just launched its mobile application for Android and iPhone. With a flat rate of $10 a month including desktop version (with 3-day trial offered), subscribers can stream or download unlimited tunes from MOG’s 8 million song library.   The songs are encoded in DRM’ed 64 kbps AAC and optionally at 320 kbps AAC. Similar to any music subscription, you can download as many and listen as often as you want during the subscription period.

The app UI should be intuitive for music lovers. You can search for song, artist, album or playlists created by other community members. A discovery music similar to Pandora is also available. An iOS 4 compatible version allowing background music playing, is in the work and will be available in few days.
