Digitimes Research senior analyst Mingchi Kuo speculates that Apple will upgrade its iPad in the first quarter of 2011 with an ARM Cortex-A9-based processor (most likely called Apple’s A5); 512MB RAM and a new smaller size iPad with 7” display using the same processor and an IPS panel with a resolution of 1024×768

imageThe analyst also confirms a version of iPhone using CDMA networks will see mass production starting in December. CDMA is the standard used on Sprint, Verizon China-based China Telecom. The CDMA version differs than the existing GSM counterpart by its back plate will be forged from metal materials instead of glass and it will feature an integrated antenna, according to Digitimes Research.

Apple is expected to launch a new disk-less Apple TV, using AMD’s Fusion solution. The new device will be part of the iOS family with support of the app store, Social media, network multimedia,…   The production will start in December.
